unfortunately, i can no longer keep this project regular on my current schedule. after the post on sunday, march 30th (doublade), 150+ project will not be updating every week. instead, i will move back to producing and posting when i am willing and able. this may mean every few days, or every few weeks. it all depends on my finances and free time.

i do want to thank the five people who contributed to my patreon campaign. I will be canceling it on the 31st before your accounts are charged for april

while I started this endeavor in 2009, I was not regularly drawing them when generation 5 came out. that gave me a lot of time to get familiar with new pokemon before I started filling in from letter A.

with gen 6 less than two weeks away, I have decided to put the 150+ project on a 8 week hiatus, meaning the next pokemon will be posted on nov. 24, 2013.

there are a few reasons for this:

• it will allow me enough time to play x or y for myself
• it will allow others to play through the games as well
• I share a sentiment with many others in which I don't want to be 'spoiled' for the new pokemon (meaning the ones not revealed before launch). I don't want to look at a full list right after launch to determine which to draw. and I don't want people to see pokemon they'd rather discover on their own
• it will start now, because I have just finished the letter E, and don't want to start on F until gen 6 is caught up.
• it will allow me more time to work on other art related projects (like my webcomic-to-be!)

this doesn't mean I won't be drawing pokemon at all. my main art tumblr is where you'd find that:@barbalarga
